“There is something in every one of you that waits and listens for the sound of the genuine in yourself. It is the only true guide you will ever have. And if you cannot hear it, you will all of your life spend your days on the ends of strings that somebody else pulls.”
-Howard Thurman

FAQ
What is Imago Relationship Therapy?
Imago Relationship Therapy (pronounced “m-ah-go”) helps couples understand how their individual pasts inform their present relationship, and identify the thoughts and behaviors working for and against their connection. Couples learn communication skills and how to manage their emotions, which allows them to move from blaming, reactivity, and disconnection to understanding, empathy, and deep connection.

My family and friends can help me. Why should I pay to talk to you about my problems?
Our well-meaning family and friends can listen and help, but sometimes with bias based on what they want for you or what they want for themselves. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am educated and trained to help you achieve the goals you set for yourself. And, you can trust I will not accidentally “air your dirty laundry” or “put your business in the street”.
I’ve never talked to a professional about my problems. I think I want to schedule an appointment, but I still have questions about this process. Can I call you or send you an email?
Yes, I offer a free 15 minute “fit chat” phone call before scheduling the initial appointment. This gives you the opportunity to ask any additional questions and for me to get information about your concerns to make sure I can be of service. Please call me at 770-856-4613 or click here to send an email.
